COSHH REGULATION

Regulation 9 of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and the guidance in HSG 258 states:

“The Maintenance, Examination and Testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation” states that LEV COSHH inspections must be carried out at least once in every 14 month period; more regular for some substances and processes."

TESTING TIMETABLE

You should have a periodic thorough examination and test of your LEV system - (at least every 14 months) and must keep this record for at least 5 years.
